Dr. Angie Holzer
Dr. Holzer received her doctorate in learning and leadership, specializing in organizational leadership with an emphasis in nonprofit management. Her research focused on improving the nonprofit sector by better understanding the benefits and challenges of nonprofit collaboration. Through her research, she developed WikiCharities as a way to provide a global community for the nonprofit sector where charities can improve transparency, connect and work together. She's worked over 25 years in the nonprofit sector and is a leading expert in her field.
She is the winner of the 2024 International Women Entrepreneur Award in Social Enterprise and NGO. She received the Dissertation of the Year Award from Aspen University in 2021 for her research entitled, "Fight Human Trafficking by Better Understanding Nonprofit Collaboration". Dr. Holzer has a Master's in Business from University of Utah and her Executive Global Business Management Certification from The Mill Entrepreneurship Center at SLCC.
Dr. Holzer also specializes in yoga for mental health from Stanford University, where she taught from 2017-2021. She is certified in yoga for cancer survivors, trauma-informed yoga, applied adaptive yoga, and yoga for mental health.
