Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) exists to shine a light worldwide on the global epidemic of child sex trafficking, and in so doing rescue more children from slavery and assist law enforcement to seek justice for those who violate children. While our focus remains on children, we assist survivors of all ages to bring them safety and healing. We place survivors on a path to recovery by partnering with vetted aftercare providers or by placing them with families.

Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) exists to rescue children from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation and ensure survivors receive the care they need. In the United States, O.U.R. Aftercare connects survivors with resources such as medical care, mental health services, vocational training, college scholarships and other services. Domestically, O.U.R. does not conduct or participate in investigations, operations or enforcement action, but rather supports law enforcement agencies and offers resources to assist them in their efforts against human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Around the world, the O.U.R. Ops Team develops relationships with foreign governments and assists their law enforcement agencies to develop intelligence and execute operations and rescue efforts. Once victims are identified and rescued, O.U.R. Aftercare connects them with vetted, in-country aftercare centers. Our team continues to provide follow-up care for these survivors and supports the aftercare homes in their efforts to provide quality aftercare services.

We envision a world where no man, woman, or child is ever exploited.
With our recent addition of four new Regional Operations Directors, our goal is to continue to expand our operations and teams abroad to bring freedom to more victims of human trafficking and exploitation. We are also working towards increasing our person-centered services for survivors all over the world.
Our long term goal is to continue to solidify the collaborations we have already established, and continue to expand into new countries.
To bring freedom and healing to survivors of human trafficking and exploitation through direct intervention, person-centered aftercare, and prevention.
We exist to rescue children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
We work with law enforcement, NGOs, and aftercare organizations to bring freedom and healing to victims of this crime.
Join the fight with us to bring an end to modern-day slavery.

Survivors were empowered to dream in over 30 countries. 800+ traffickers and predators were stopped. 17 new ESD K9s were placed across the United States. 191 adoptions were funded by Children Need Families (a project of O.U.R.).

COVID-19 has presented challenges with lockdowns and differing protocols in various countries. We are continuing to communicate with partners and survivors to do our best to navigate restrictions.
In the United States, O.U.R. develops relationships with law enforcement agencies and offers resources to assist them in their efforts against human trafficking and sexual exploitation. These resources commonly include support vehicles, forensics equipment, and electronic detection service K9s. We fund specialized training for law enforcement officers specific to human trafficking and child exploitation. O.U.R. does not conduct or participate in investigations, operations, or enforcement action in the United States. This important work is conducted by dedicated men and women in law enforcement. O.U.R. also collaborates with other organizations in the U.S. to bring awareness to the cause and educate everyday citizens on the signs and risk factors associated with human trafficking and exploitation. The O.U.R. Ops Team consists of highly experienced and extensively trained former law enforcement personnel, intelligence experts, U.S. diplomats, and military officers. Our goal is to develop long-term relationships with foreign governments and their law enforcement agencies responsible for combatting human trafficking and child sexual exploitation. We support these agencies by developing intelligence, cultivating sources, and by infiltrating criminal human trafficking networks under appropriate laws and procedures with the goal of identifying their leadership and methods of operation.
